Every relationship experiences challenges. Sometimes couples find themselves having the same arguments over and over again. Sometimes trust has been broken, communication has become strained, or life has simply become overwhelming. Whatever has brought you here, couples therapy offers an opportunity to better understand one another and begin creating lasting change together.
Many couples come to therapy believing that the goal is to determine who is right and who is wrong.
My approach is different.
I believe that underneath conflict there is often something much more important; hurt, fear, loneliness, disappointment, or a desire to feel understood and valued. Together, we'll work to slow down these difficult moments, understand the patterns that keep you feeling stuck, and help you respond to one another in new ways.
During our work together, we'll explore:
My role is not to take sides. Instead, I strive to create a safe and balanced space where both partners feel heard, respected, and understood. When people feel less defensive and more emotionally safe, meaningful conversations become possible.
Our work will focus on helping you better understand both your own reactions and your partner's experience, while also developing practical skills you can use outside of therapy. We'll identify the cycles that keep you stuck, strengthen communication, and work toward rebuilding trust, connection, and emotional security.
Whether you're hoping to reconnect, recover after a difficult season, or simply build a healthier relationship, therapy can help you move from feeling like you're on opposite sides to feeling like you're on the same team again.
Healthy relationships aren't built by never having conflict, they're built by learning how to navigate it together with understanding, honesty, and care.
